    Hi,all

    I'd like to buy minndvd for my new Samsung DVD Camcorders,and anyone can remommend it,like ritek or philips? I'm totally new for this, so any opinion will be very appreciated.

    Whatever is made in Japan or Singapore. Brands that exist (brands, not ID) include JVC, Panasonic, Sony, Maxell and maybe a few others. Read the label.

    I only use Sony. Never had a problem. Their mini dvd packaging actually says: Made in Japan. They seem to be of excellent quality, and hopefully will last a really long time properly stored.

    Until I get a computer with DVD drive, I am making re-encoded copies with my DVD recorder on to TY blanks. I am also going to make a last line of defense backup on to VHS.
