    this is my first time using TMPGEnc

  3. sup dude....i'm assuming the original dvd u ripped was also in widescreen.

    in tmpgenc, in source video tab, there is a place where you indicate source aspect ratio. you need the determine the source aspect ratio (16:9 or 4:3) using dvd2avi. the default is 4:3, most likely changing it to 16:9 will make it WS

  6. When I reencode from divx to mpeg, I choose 1-1 and keep fullscreen aspect ratio in tmpgenc, and have no problems palying them widescreen (or whatever size is on the divx)

    What do you use to burn? use nero and dont let it reencode
