  1. Greetings!

With DVD lab Pro I tried to create my first DVD with two soundtracks and subtitles.

Unfortunatly, after compiling I encountered two problems when testing it.

    On a DVD X Player 4.0 Professional.

    1) When I run it with audiotrack 1 -- it runs video and plays sound.
When I run it with audiotrack 2 -- it runs video, but no sound is played.

2)When I switch on the subtitles, it plays normaly up to the moment when the first line of subtitle text should appear. Then player craches showing window "Runtime Error 217 at 01902720".
When they are switched off -- everything works fine.

On Cyberlink Power DVD both soundtracks work fine, but subtitles could not be switched off.

Haven't tried burning it and tried on external DVD player.

    A few technical details.

Original files were .ogm with two sound streams and subtitles.
They were separated by Virtualdub Mod 1.5.10

When I tried to encode .ogg soundfiles with help of GXTranscoder v.2 resulting files were not recognised by DVD Lab as sound files. I encoded them into .wav files with oggdropXPdV1.8.9, and these .wav's -- into mpeg2 files by Batch ffmpegGUI XP to save disc space. Each and every file was checked with Windows Media Player -- and it worked fine.

All the subtitles streams were created by DVD Lab from .srt files, separated by Virtualdub Mod.

Could not remember anything else "suspicious..."

    Thanks beforehand!!

  2. Managed to solve the subtitle problem.

Source of pain -- I've fogotten to re-code subtitles after switching project from PAL to NTSC.

But if anyone can suggest any trick for dealing with DVD X and second soundtrack problem -- I'd be truly gratefull!
