    Hi can someone help me I rip my dvd to hard drive and
    try to convert the files to mpeg with dvdtovcd and get
    the message cannot play this region if I rip it
    of my dvd it works fine the software I have used is SmartRipper my dvd player will play any region thanks

    use smartripper or some other ripping proggie and select "demacrovision" or "make region free"

    or you can make your DVD-Drive region free by getting a regionfree frimware for your drive and flashing your DVD-Drive but make sure you know how to flash a drive
