Hi,
I need play video files (AVI, MPEG, DivX) in TV. Usually, I connected my laptop to my TV using a special cable (white, yellow red) and then play it. Or I burn the video file, converted as DVD and play it using my Sony DVD player.
What I would like to ask, is there any small device, which I can transfer the video file into it and then connected the device to the TV and play it.
I imagine somekind like an external harddisk that has built in video player for TV.
I am sure there are some products like this, but I hope you can give me some advices or reviews.
I know that I can use PVP like Archos, but it is very expensive and I dont need portable viewer (small screen in the device).
Thanks for any info.

There are portable DVD player (some of them has battery pack for playing in an automobile ) make by philips and china, that are about US$149 or less over the pond here. You should able to convert your video to DVD, and play them.
