  1. Hi! I have two questions if anyone could help, I Understand that it’s possible to copy from an analogue camcorder onto a mini DV camcorder but how do I connect them together because the analogue cam only has AV out connection?
I also have some DVD home movies which I would like to edit in pinnacle studio 9, but how do I get them into studio 9?

If the camcorder has composite analog in, then you can use it for that purpose. SVideo would be better quality, but give it a try. Otherwise you would need a capture card or device to get it in the computer.

For the DVD movies, you can use a program like VOB2MPG to convert them to a MPEG file you may be able to edit in Pinnacle. You can also rip it to one large VOB with DVD Decrypter and Pinnacle may be able to process that.

There are plenty of guide for this. Here's one: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=224833

    And welcome to our forums.

The analog out usually doubles as analog in. You have to enable it in the menu on your cam which varies by manufacturer. Not all cams support this feature...
