  1. Dear all experts,

I wish to put some data files into a dvd-video disc. I know I can use Nero's Recompress to do so, but I wish to use a free tool such as DVD Shrink etc. Does anyone know any good tool to use?

    Thanks!!!

DVD Shrink only does DVD, not data files. All you need is a burning app such as Nero burning rom, and perhaps a compression app such as winrar or winzip.

  3. thanks for the reply guns1inger.

what i want to do is this:
i already got some vob files in order to create a dvd, but i wish to put extra data files to the dvd i'm going to create because the vobs only took 3G, I want to fill it up to 4G.

i can achieve this by using Nero's "Re-compress" with a DATA tab. But I'm now looking for free software to do it since I don't have money to renew my nero.

Hope someone can recommend me a free tool to use. Thanks!!!

  4. You can put data files outside VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders. Make iso with Imgtool classic and burn it.
