You'll have to render your pictures as a movie - this may well be done to look as a slide show. I've used WMM, exporting to DV AVI, lastly encoded to DVD mpg. Then author it as usual together with your other video clip.

  5. Almost any consumer editing software will do this. Then encode and author then burn.

WMM is fine but won't encode to DVD so you'd have to create a .avi file then encode that file, as someone said. Just drag and drop the video and/or photos onto the timeline....easy as can be.

Ulead's VideoStudio 10 Plus is great for this type of work. Handles video editing, and automates the creation of slideshows (i.e. just give it a folder with a bunch of pics, and it will auto-generate a nice little video out of them).

    Just two warning's :

1: If including different aspect ratio's and/or pal + ntsc "mpeg2" on disc , use pgcedit to put title's together
(most , if not all other program's that author dvd's do not allow this)

2: All audio need's to be encoded to the "same" format and frequency ... or dvd player may freak out .

Finally , for all supported mpeg2 output encoding in any of the supported resolution's for dvd production , I recommend bbmpeg as the encoder ...

I have alway's used ifoedit as my title muxer , other mpeg2 encoder's have issue's , and bbmpeg is packed with feature's .

From the forum it appear's to be ifoedit for pal , rejig for ntsc ... I would think the problem is more to do with the mpeg2 encoder's that were initially used ... I have no issue's with ntsc format with ifoedit , using bbmpeg as the mpeg2 encoder .
