How do I shrink a 4G DVDr to maybe 3G?

I 've used DVDshrink a lot but how. I know I will lose quality, but how do you do it?

I know if you remove some languages, subtitles, menus it makes it samller or select just the main movie but it's still is not enough.

Is there a way to shrink it more?

I just want to get to 3GB, so do I just lower the percentage until I see it is 3GB??

  4. Go to preferences in shrink and select custom file-size. You then input the file size that you want and then press ok. Then shrink away.

Yes. Either do that or do what was suggested. Now why you would want to do that when it already fits is beyondme!

One reason would be to fit 2 - 4GB DVDr's and misc. data on a single dual layer disc. By shrinking the material you maintain the safety net by not filling the entire dvd.

He might have cruddy discs. By shrinking further, he eliminates the freezing at the end of the discs.

At the cost of Quality?? Don't think so.

Go get some TYs and enjoy the quality. There's no excuse for compromise anymore.
