    is there a guide on this site on how to convert kvcd to dvd?

    because i wasn't able to find one.

    if anybody knows if there is one or could tell me how to convert kvcd to dvd please let me know.

    KVCD is non-standard video. It cannot be put onto DVD in most cases. You'd have to re-encode it, and that would probably do a bit of damage seeing as how the source isn't very good to begin with.

    It's like converting anything to DVD - http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/AVI2DVD.htm walks you through using TMPGenc Plus. Or try convertxtodvd or its freeware predecessor divxtodvd.

    First though you should use the latest GSpot (V2.52) to take a look at the file and see exactly what is non-dvd compliant about the file. It may be easy to recitfy without re-encoding.

    You could try following some regular VCD to DVD guide. Basically, this would involve getting the mpg out of the VCD, then simply author it as DVD with TMPGEnc DVD Author.
    I'd try this as a first step, since you have to get the mpg out anyway, and just loading it into TDA takes no time at all. If TDA refuses to load it, you'll have to go ahead and reencode.
