I have a video of an auto race and I have a separate data file with key data points (MPH, elapsed time, etc). How can I overlay some of these data points over the video without manually adding the text hundreds of times?

FWIW, I have InterVideo WinDVD Creator that came bundled (I'm not terribly impressed), but I'm open to other software that may be better suited for my purposes.

I did extensive searching, and was unable to locate anything directly relevant. Thanks for helping a newbie!!!

You might want to visit our Subtitle forum. If you can convert your text to subtitles, you could either permanently place them in the video or use a separate subtitle file so you could access them as wanted.

I don't use subtitles much, but there are others in that forum that should be able to give you some ideas.

    And welcome to our forums.
