Hi
Why is it that sometimes when I play a VCD or DVD the picture rolls,and other times it plays fine.I encode them always the same way.Would it be the movie itself.Any help would be appreciated

What are you playing them on? And viewing them on? If it's a TV and you are using a standalone player, I would say the problem may likely be the TV or possibly the player. It may be a weak signal and the TV loses sync. If it's a computer, then what program are you using to play them with?
That doesn't sound like a problem with the discs or their method of creation. Have you tried them on other standalone players? -
Maybe its PAL discs being played in a finnicky NTSC player on finnicky NTSC TV (or vice-versa). That rolls sometimes...

Its a standalone.But some of them play fine and yet others don't? -
If it isn't PAL/NTSC issues, it sounds like a Player/Cabling Problem.
