    Hi,

I'm not sure how to ask this question and even if this is the right board. So forgive me if my question should be asked somewhere else.

The thing is I'm editing a project to be put on DVD (with DVDSP) in FCP.
I would really like to have, as sort of a signature, an animation of a B/W Logo.
It has to be just a fade in to white, fade to logo, fade to white, fade-out sequence.
I've used a jpeg (72 dpi) for the logo in Pal square pixel.

However whenever I export the sequence It's not very sharp.
I would like it to be sharper.

Is it the way of exporting, do I need to use a higher resolution, or should I use an entire diffrent app to do this?

    Thanx

Most likely not enough resolution. When using images in video, the size is pixels (width x height) is a better indication of resolution quality than dpi. In order to guarantee a downsampled use in SD, the logo should be at least 768 pixels wide, or 576 pixels high, whichever comes first.

Have you tried twice the size, just to see if it renders more crisp?

    i'll try that as well

I've been experimenting this afternoon with Photo to Movie wich seems to be giving better results overall than FCP.
