Need advice on how to burn Madagascar.

Ive tried and tried, first i used dvddecrypter to rip and then shrink and wouldnt work, then i tried ripping with dvdfab decrypter and then shrinking and i get this message dvd shrink has encountered a error and cannot continue failed to read file "c/dvd/video_TS/VTS_01_1.vob" Invailed access to memory location. I tried doing a search on here but couldnt come up with solutions that i could understand, if you can please help me or know of another program to use i would appreciate it, thanks in advance for any help.

You could try running FixVTS on the DVD Fab Decrypter output to see if that fixes the problem. Otherwise try using the latest DVD Fab Decrypter. It is being constantly updated and you need to keep up if that is your tool of choice.

VitxVTS was written to try to repair DVD Fab Decrypter output for DVD Shrink to read.

So all i do is drag the vob file to fixvts, after it does that is it fixed in the folder i have setup for the ripped movie? Thanks again for the info, im trying it right now

That didnt work either, now it says programming error-exception occured.

Get the latest DVDFAB DECRYPTER then use that to rip to your hard drive then use DVDSHRINK.

dled and installed the newest version of dvdfab decrypter, and it still didnt work, i really could use some help backing up this movie, thanks.

I had issues ripping it with Decrypter on my main computer. Everything worked fine except 1 VOB. I have a DVD-r and a separate DVD Rom, neither would rip..
My solution was to use a 3rd dvd rom. Ripped the VOB successfully on my laptop. I also found that DVD Shrink would fail on opening up files, but DVD2One worked successfully.
I know some might not have the options that I had, but this is what worked for me successfully.
It is possible to rip this movie, I just had to be a little creative.

well i give up, i cant get madagascar to work and i cant get shopgirl to work , i ripped both with dvdfab decrypter and tried fixvts to cleanup or repair the vob files then shrink and it still wont work, i give up.
