Pioneer dvdrw drive....

I just installed my pioneer dvdrw drive and it works fine...burned a couple svcds perfectly...but i bought a Memorex dvd+rw and when I tried to insert it in the drive...it just spun and constantly read it....it would not stop reading it....so obviously it was an unrecognized format or something....i tried a dvdr that came with the dvdrw drive and it worked....Im wondering if anybody else has had this problem...thanks.

the ao3 doesn't write to dvd+rw only dvd-r/w
with f/ware 1.65 you can read a dvd+rw but still not write to it
get some dvd-rw's
