    I have a DVD with 7 vob files.

    video_ts.vob = intro/copyright message
    vts_01_0.vob = menu
    vts_01_1.vob = program 1 with 8 chapters
    vts_01_2.vob = program 2 with 8 chapters
    vts_01_3.vob = program 3 with 8 chapters
    vts_01_4.vob = program 4 with 8 chapters
    vts_01_5.vob = part of program 4?

    I have taken vts_01_3.vob and edited it with VS9.
    What is the best way to insert the video back into the DVD structure so the menus will work and if possible still have chapters (even if i have to recreate them).
    Obviously I will need to burn the entire DVD at some point.

    This is not so simple .

    The problem is , what is this vob .

    If it is a single title , you can open the dvd in pgcedit , and import this edited vob , then reconnect it to menu structure .

    However , if it is part of a title , you need to make sure the audio stream is the same format as the other vob's ... and ...

    It must contain the same number of audio stream's and format's , and subtitle's ... really nasty project to work with because it take's a long time to reproduce ... for newbies atleast .

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    There is no fast and easy method to this .... but it would be best to demultiplex the given title , and rebuild it .

    Open title in pgcedit after reauthoring , then click on title , then right click on it , and choose "import menu" .
    Import original menu from dvd (ripped to hd before hand) .

    Then simplify nav command's down to the basic's for it to work .

    Some menu's are extremely complex ...

    I've got a funny feeling that VOBBlanker has a "Replace VOB" feature that may or may not be able to do what you wish to do. *Maybe* even DVDRemake as an alternative.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. If your editing preserved cells and their ids as in original then you can try replacing original with edited (back it up first of course) and import into DvdReMake. It will take care of everything.
