    I'm trying to strip out a part of the dvd and reauthor it with the original menu. However when I go to reauthor tab and select the tracks that I want to include it says DVD Shrink is unable to retain original menu functionality and tells me to use the Full Disc backup instead... ideas?

    Try using VobBlanker. It will let you strip out titles that you don't want.

    Otherwise in DVD Shrink you could use the option of replacing a title with a static image, and just use a black image - it will still take up space, and have the entire run time of that title, though.

    Or DVDRebuilder would be another option.

    Dvd Shrink will not let you retain original menu functionality with re-author mode.
