I am using Premiere 6.0 I do not know what is the deal, my timeline is ten minutes long, and when I try to export it as an uncompressed AVi it stops always around 3 minutes mark. The funny part is that it did not have any problems exporting an avi file with main concept compresion. I do not know how can I fix it, I have tried changing the settings but it did not work it freezes up the computer and in the task manager it shows that it uses 100% of CPU. the reason why I am asking this is because I need high res clip to encode it into the mpg2 through the TMPGenc, I have used the Main concept avi that I got out of the Premiere, but it just does not give me a high resolution as a MPG2, it looks allright as an MPG1 but i really need to use the MPG2 for my project.
Thanks upfront.

3 minutes of uncompressed AVI? Sounds like you're running into the 4 GB limit. Try exporting it in 4 pieces, each start frame one frame after the last frame of the piece before... then using AVIsynth (if you know how) to feed it to TMPGenc. Or, encode each of the 4 piece seperately, and then use MGEG Tools in TMPGence to join them together. Hope that helps
