Hi there, so after some trial and error, I've had the following journey:

    1) I was able to successfully convert an AVI (DiVX) to DVD (Video/Audio-TS) folder.
    2) I then discovered that the DVD functionality of ffmpegx could only make a Video-TS folder out of one file.
    3) I want to add multiple files to one DVD, so I discovered one could do that with Sizzle (0.5b2). (by creating multiple titles)
    4) Now, for some reason, I've been unable to convert the audio in a DiVX file to AC3, successfully. the result is a file with a ".ac3" extension that looks _far_ too small to actually contain any audio. Sure enough, when I try to import it into Sizzle I get an error message "some audio in this file does not appear to be MP2, AC3".
    5) So, I've tried re-converting the AVIs using the MPEG-TS preset, to create a muxed MP2 file, and Sizzle seems to understand some of those files, but not others.

Sorry for the long post, I've been at it a while before I tried asking for any help. I'm also not in front of my Mac, so I may be missing some details.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    - What are the audio details of the source file, as indicated on the left side in the Summary tab of ffmpegX?
    - Did you try the Movie audio to AC3 preset?

Actually, that particular problem seems to have resolved itself. Sorry for the delay in responding!

I do have another issue, but it likely falls out of scope of an ffmpegx forum. I'll ask anyways.

I've been able to successfully burn a DVD from an image I've created in Sizzle. I mounted the image and tested it in Apple DVD player before I burned it, and everything seemed to be in order. Then I successfully burned the DVD using Disk Utility. The resulting disk also seemed to work fine on my machine.

However, when I try to play the disc in my standalone unit (Magnavox MRV660), the TOC loads, and appears to work, but each title only plays back for about 5 seconds, then the screen freezes, but the counter on the player keeps going.

I suspect this might have something to do with interlacing. Am I way off base? Thanks in advance!
