    I have a friend that have a video camera that save in MOD file.

    What I can understand that is something like MPEG-2

    Some have give her that she only need to rename the file to mpg but she say that make not a good quality.

    Is that any good free program that she can use to convert MOD file?

    I have never hear about MOD before

    If you check the wikopedia link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOD_(file_format), it explains what a .mod file is.. Here is another link on how to convert. Found using a simple google search http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/9735p1.html
