Hello Folks,
I decided to do away with Windows XP and instead have gone back to Windows 2000. I had been burning ISO files on WinXP with DVDDecryptor and it took about 10 minutes to burn a full DVD. Now since I am using Win2000, my burning speed has gone down to about 40 minutes. As far as I know, all of the settings for Decryptor are the same. I have the speed set to max yest the speed is at about 1.5 and I am burning 16x Taiyo Yudens. Same DVD burner (Mad Dog). Also my pc is now very slow to respond while burning when before it was not. I am not used to not performing other tasks while burning. IS there anything that I can do to increase my speed. Is this a Win2000 problem? Is WinXP really that much better at managing burners and such. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark
