I have a Hauppauge WinTV PCI card with remote. I installed WinTV 2000. When I capture TV programs and burn it to DVD it is synce'd but it looks pixelated and the video hesitates. I captured the programs as mpeg and divx same problem. I used Pinnacle Studio version 9 with latest updates. I also used Sonic DigitalMedia LE v7 and the same problem. I also used TMPGENC Express same problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am running Windows XP Media Center on a DELL Dimension 9100 with 1gig memory and 144 gig drive with 29gig free.

I hope you have *more* than a single 144GB drive in that system! As a rule, it is ALWAYS a good idea to capture to a NON-SYSTEM drive - and as a rule I usually capture to a completely different physical drive, not just logical.
I imagine that you are running other programs while attempting to capture as well, which will also adversely affect your captures.
Post back more info for further clarification, ok?
Cheers!

Thanks for the reply and help with not only this problem but the avi error question. As for my system. The 144gig drive is my system drive and I have 72gig free. I always stop all apps. via task manager before capturing. I think I'm going to add a 20gig drive to my system and see what happens. If this does not fix it what else would you suggest?
