    A friend of mine wants to make DVD slide shows, but, wants to do it in one "easy" step. :P

    IE: Import the photos, give each photo a difference display time, difference transistions, included text, finally backround music. And then burn it to a DVD

    Unlike me who uses SSMM to make them in AVI then converts them to either MPEG 1 or MPEG 2.
    I have seen some listed here, but, they seem to be for WinXP.

    Are there any for Win98?

    SSSM or as known : slide show movie maker

    Work's on Xp / Winme / Win98

    Avi to mpeg1 / mpeg2 / dvd , use bbmpeg

    Guide online soon .

    I tried to get him to use it, but, not only did he think it was too complex.

    He did not like that not only was the result not DVD ready. You had used another allplication to do it as well

    He likes his technology simple

    Well , it's up to them on that one .

    But incase .

    Run avi through bbmpeg to produce mpeg2
    Mpeg demux using batchdemux .
    Besweet to convert mpa to ac3 audio .

    Ifoedit , author dvd ... ready to burn .
