Hi: I want to see this product in action before I order. Anyone know if there is any retailer selling this product?

    Thanks

None that I am aware of.

I have been using the LP2 for about 6mos and it works very well for my needs/expectations.

It is, for the most part a solid alternative to HTPC.

I needed a way to play video files on my HDTV from my PC, which is located on the other side of my house. I did not want a PC in my already too crowded familyroom and I did not want the expense and hassle of what comes with a HTPC. I did NOT purchase the LP2 with the intent to have it double as a stand alone DVD player. I did NOT purchase it to upscale video because my HDTV already does that.

The major weaknesses of the LP2 are the DVD player and customer support. My particular LP2 unit has worked flawlessly.

Just curious, does it have a HDTV tuner that I can hook my OTA antenna to?
    Thanks

I'll second the DVD player being weak. It choked on alot of burnt media my sub $50 player has no problem with and was extremely loud while spinning a disc. Since I was experimenting with different setups I returned that and settled on the D-Link media player. I can now wirelessly transmit media from any PC and the D-Link doesn't cough when fed DRM audio/video files.

Does the D-Link do HD stuff like ts or DivXHD or WMV HD?

I just googled and if you have the 520 then yes it does HD stuff. Looks like a good option for the LP2, although I have a few negative things regarding the 520's release.

How does the D-Link display jpegs? is it full resolution?
