I have a video that I have split into 2 cd's because the size is too large. I used TMPGenc to make a svcd, and used VCDEasy to burn it. The first cd turned out great.

However, on the second mpg file made from TMPGenc, the audio is out of sync with the picture and subtitles. Sadly I didn't check the file and burnt it, and it turns out unwatchable.

When choosing the source of audio in TMPGenc, I choose the full wav file of the whole video that I made with VirtualDub. It has seemed to take the second half of the audio in the wav, but the sync was out.

Any ideas on how I could get it back in sync? Or perhaps I should just try encode it to mpg again and see if it was an one off occurance?

How did you split your video? If you cut the source file then that's not what I would recommend. Use the 'source range' in tmpgenc and select the two parts to encode using the original video. Or in your case, use it to select the second part since the first part is OK.

Ah, yes. Sorry I didn't mention it, but I did use the source range feature in TMPGenc.

I wrote down the end frame for my first cd, and used that frame for the start frame on the second cd.

    Thanks,

Using Virtualdub, load your source video and your wav file. Try playing it. Is it in sync throughout? You can adjust the audio under audio>interleaving>audio skew correction, then save your avi. Make sure your video is set to 'direct stream copy.'
