I'm a big fan of macs, and I don't want to go back to PCs but there's always a reason for me to keep one around.
I really wish there was a version of ConvertXtoDVD (formerly DivxToDVD) for mac.
It automatically incorporates overscan compensation (making sure the image isn't excessively chopped off) into the DVD encoding.
I remember configuring overscan to be a real headache with TMPGEnc.
Thanks to DivxToDVD I didn't have to spend so much time with a calculator testing and re-testing to get it right.
I hope ffmpegX 1.0 can have this as an available feature.
Then I would buy it for sure!
Overscan is such a big headache for me. I'm new to ffmpegX and I'm sure there are ways to figure it out but the automatic feature of DivxToDVD while not perfect worked 80% of the time.
I hope you guys can find the time to add it in![]()
