    I'm in Canada and have a Sony RDR-GX315 recorder. Unfortunately my PAL dvds aren't playing on it. Does anyone know of any way/trick/anything to get them to play?

    Sorry. I have a GX315 on loan. The manual on page 31 specifically states that PAL and SECAM disks cannot be played.
