I have a Sony mini cd DVD model 403. All I want to do is download all the mini DVD videos to the hard-drive, (I use Picture Package) do minor editing and burn a larger DVD with no loss of quality. As of now I'm using the trial versions of Video Dedo Plus to edit, and TMPEGnec DVD Author to burn. (I would use the TMPEGnec, but I still can't get rid of the pauses between chapters). I am looking for a good all in one program. Will Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 be the answer?
    Thanks

No, it will probably reencode everything...

mpeg video wizard dvd might be something to test.

but pauses between chapters in tda? how? or do you mean pauses between the cuts?

How do I delete the chapter point and start a new one? Is it just move the chapter point over one frame on the second file, then click on the "Set as Start Frame" button, or "Add current frame to Chapter" button, or something else...
    Thanks to all...

I forgot all about that thread until i just saw this one

If you look into the right hand side display where the one chapter is you just hilite it and click delete at the bottom.
Then move over a frame just like in the photo and click "add current frame to chapter".
Did you actually try this correctly and it still did not work

Yes I did it correctly and it didn't work. So what I do is I use Video Redo to join the MPEG's, then load the new file into TMPEGnec, and tell it to make chapters every 3 min or so. Then it works fine. Any other ideas? Is TMPEG able to join all my MPEG's into one file without a pause?
I have another question. The Sony DVD recorder audio records in Dolby. When I do all this copying, editing and burning, it seems that I still hear the Dolby sound in the final DVD...but I am not sure. I keep reading about a "plug in". Do I need this to copy the Dolby audio?
