I have footage from an analog camcorder and a digital one, and I'm looking for video editing software that supports both. Does anyone know if Vegas 6 does? And if not, is there another good software that does?

Next you capture your analog video to a digital format such as DV (like your digital camcorder), MPeg2, uncompressed or some other format.
Digital video is transferred over a IEEE-1394 port.
It would help if you listed your camcorder models for both the analog and digital camcorders. Some digital camcorders can capture from analog sources. Also tell us how many analog tapes you need to capture.
Vegas is an editing program.
