    my vhs has the AV1 and AV1 and digital receiver has the EXT1 and EXT2
    can someone tell me the difference. what and what are the same?

    Well if you'd provide your brand and model number someone might be able to give you more details.

    BUT to guess I'd say they are alternative input sources. Say input 1 might be a camcorder and input 2 might be a video game console.

    EXT? and AV? it just a means alternative input or output sources and as for difference there is no difference.
