I recently read that my Sandisk Sansa e140 (which I just got back in the mail from support) can display lyrics while playing songs!! I thought I would give this cool feature a try, here are the "instructions" I saw posted:
Sourceit supports lyrics too. I’ve tried to put lyrics into one song and Sansa showed the lyrics as I put it into a song. Great feature and no info on sandisk.com about this. Try it too. In windows media player import lyrics to the sond, set timing and transfer to Sansa and listen and WATCH… Great.
Anyway I edited the lyrics manually in media player and tried adding some lines where they were supposed to go - synched lyrics. Anyway it didn't work, part of the screen is blank where the lyrics are supposed to go (I'm guessing) but nothing appears. Also this is a tedious process. Is there a freeware app out there that will automatically search and insert lyrics into files based on the other ID3 data? Also my player supports ID3 tags up to version 1.1.
Thanks

What about an iTunes plugin that would grab the lyrics and automatically insert them into a song? Also I found an iTunes script that lets you use your non-ipod mp3 player with iTunes - http://www.badfruit.com/download.html but I cannot get it to install. Do you have a link to another similar application?
