I am nature photographer with lots of nice pics. I am thinking of using those pictures at my church as a photo slideshow during our worship (when we sing songs) just like this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VE0yUobk6TM&feature=related
I don't know how the video is created, but if I am doing at the church it is live and what software is needed? (windows version or mac version).
What are the other things needed to create this photoslideshow with lyrics?

There are hundreds of slideshow creator software out there. I presumed you searched Google and found none? Most any of the free ones will do what you want. Pick one and try it out. Just make sure you pick one that does audio too.
Your statement about a live slide show doesn't make sense. If it is a slide show it is not live. -
Thanks. Sorry it didn't make sense as I am quite new to this. I am talking about projecting the pictures to the projector like a slideshow and displaying the lyrics of the song together.
Meanwhile ai researched and found "ProPresenter 4" does what I am expecting to do, but it way expensive. Any least pricing option alternative? -
Being a user of ProPresenter 4, I can attest that it can indeed do a similar presentation as the YouTube video. It requires setup and thoughtful purpose and does not assemble the end product without the operator doing the front end work. That being said, it does a fantastic job with relative ease (once the operator learns how to use the program) plus does so much more then what the slideshow would be. I would suspect, that if the church is using a presentation software for the services, that the one being used can do the same thing. Talk with the person in charge of the service presentation for further tips.
If the present church service does not include a video presentation of some sort, then getting the projection device and a means to show the slide show from a computer is another consideration. Do some upfront work and let us know what is available at the church, then we(I) can possibly help with getting to the end result.
BTW: a typical PowerPoint presentation or OpenOffice (free software) can do a slideshow, once the operator learns how. If this type of presentation is just for occasional use, then OpenOffice would be my choice for this. -
That YouTube video you linked to is simply a photo slideshow....something that can be made with tools found here:
https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/photo-dvd-vcd - many of them are free. Once you have completed the slideshow....you will need to export it as some sort of video....whether it be MPEG2 then authored to a DVD for playback in a DVD player or some other sort of video file played through a computer. There will be no "live" aspect to this video you create....it will run it's duration and play like a movie with no interaction on your part. You need to fill 5 minutes of time?...you make a 5 minute slideshow video, and so on and so on. -
Yes, there are so many ways to do what you want to do. Simplest is to just create the slideshow on your laptop and hook it up to a projector and go. That way you don't have to mess with DVD creation. You can even do it with MS Powerpoint like OldMan said above. Also try Picasa. It is pretty easy.
