    I just got a Sony DVP-NC600/B as a gift and I would like to know what its capabilities are before I open it. Unfortunately, it has not yet been posted in the DVD Players List.
    Does anyone have any experience with playing VCD/XVCD/SVCD/XSVCD on this player or any different types of media - DVDR/DVDRW?
    Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    it doesn't support VCD i know that! I have it and it sucks!
