Has anyone discovered a faster "flavor" (format) of MPEG files to use in Power Producer 3 (version 3.07.06320)? There are still times when I like to do some recording using ATI MMC. Is there any style of MPEG that Power Producer considers "ready to go" and doesn't need to do any conversions?
The version 3 actually actually seems to be a very good solution for quicky authoring. It is just slow.

Probably 720 x 480 pixels MPEG2 (Called Full-D1) from our page, 'WHAT IS' DVD to the upper left. <<<<<<
That's the format for NTSC DVD compliant MPEG-2 video and there is no reason it should have to be re-encoded if it meets the DVD specification for video and audio. If it does re-encode it anyway, I would look for a different authoring program.
