    I see at the LG site there is a firmware A306 for this burner

    Has anyone installed this firmware....???

    Does it enable booktyping/bitsetting ???

    I have my burner in a external firewire case so I would assume I'll have to move it to an ide chain for the firmware upgrade to work...

    So can I assume that no one here has upgraded their LG 4160b firmware to A306..???

    Applied the firmware...Doesn't enable booksetting but supposed to enable compatibility issues with some media...
