I tried to do simple modification to a small video captured by my digicam

Please help with a couple of question:

    1. After I export the file to AVI, the video and audio seems not synchronized? The video seem to lag the audio by a fraction.

    2. One gif animation I added becamed blurry after exported to AVI???. It plays ok inside the Premiere monitor window. Any way to improve the sharpness of exported file but not increasing the filesize excessively?

    PS:
Original file is MPEG 160x112 pixels 25fps 1.1Mb,
Exported file is AVI 160x112 pixels 25fps 11.0Mb.

I use STOIK to then convert to WMV (870kb).

    Thanks.

What digicam produces 160x112 pixel 25 fps MPeg video?

Most digital camera's use MJPEG format. Premiere won't work with MJPEG directly. You need 3rd party solutions.

It's SONY DSC-P72. The file produced is ".mpg"

It can be recognised and edited in Premiere .. but the problem I faced is as stated in my first post.

Per this site, the movie choices on that camera include:
"Movie: MPEG VX: 640x480 - full screen playback- 16fps - length determined by media capacity - Audio, 160x112 E-mail"
    http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/p72.html

So normal mode appears to be MPeg1 640x480, 16 fps
email mode is like a moving postage stamp.

Consult google for more but the first thing you need to deal with is the 16 fps rate.
