  1. I have a sony dcrtrv-t30 digital movie camera that records in MPEG format. I can download via usb to my PC in which I produce a movie with sounds titles etc, via MPG Videowave. I then use Nero to burn to a VCD. When I play it on by DVD (panasonic RV-31K) it is 'muddy' looking. I know I have the highest format available on my video camera so I think I am doing something wrong once it hits my PC. Any ideas on how to get better quality? Any advice would be fantastic!

  2. jrebl: I have VideoWave v4.0 myself. As you've seen, the quality of the MPEG encoder
in the program is not all that great. You'd be better served by using TMPGEnc to encode
the video after you have transferred it from your camera to your PC.

    Just my two cents...
