I just got a new computer but I'm experiencing alot of problems using tmpgenc. Most of the time when I try to run the program it would not open, othertimes when I want to load a file to convert it would just freeze. When I setup the settings to encode my file it would freeze and when its done converting it would also freeze. I have already tried 3 different versions of tmpgenc and still no luck. I'm converting rmvb files to dvd format. I have the real alternative codec installed already and also the xvid, ogg, mkv, divx codecs installed. The tmpgenc program works fine on my laptop which is running an intel centrino 1.5ghz processor. Processor drivers have been installed already. Anyone got any solutions?

I don't have a solution for you but TMPGEnc Plus(version 2.521.58.169) runs fine on my A64 3800+. So it's not something inherently wrong with the program.

Only the program freezes. The system I bought was built for me by a pc store. Right now I'm using version 2.59.47.155

Dunno if that helps. Could it be a problem with real alternative or real player? I've already tried installing/uninstalling both real player and real alternative but with no luck. Some codec problems? Would codecs make the program sometimes not even run at all?
