    Hey Guys,

I've made a DVD for my local football team (in Premiere Pro/Encore), but would also like to include all of our weekly newsletters which are in a .pdf format. I think I can create a menu in Encore to view them as a slideshow on the tv set, however I would also like to be able to preserve the original .pdf file for downloading onto a PC. I've noticed that when I create the DVD in Encore, the image files get lost somewhere inside the .vob files. Can I have a separate folder within the DVD structure that can store the original .pdfs?

    Any help is appreciated...

    Thanks

Yes. The VOB files goes in VIDEO_TS, so just create another folder called NEWSLTRS or something and stuff them in there. You MAY want to include a README.1st and also put Adobe Reader installer on there as well.

Use encore to produce your DVD structure on your HDD. Before burning, add the extra folder at the same level as the video_TS and audio_TS folders. Drop your pdf files and anything else you need into it, then burn as normal.

Slight aside... That's why I like VCDEasy. It shows you the structure of the VCD before you burn it, and you can add stuff as you see fit.
