Anything to help with waveyness from antenna on old TV recordings?

Are there any filters (hardware or software) that can lessen this problem? I can post a screencap in a little while if anyone's unsure of what I'm talking about.

Screencap will be up in about 90 minutes, and it's in MPEG-2 (yes, I know, but I'm curious if anything can help w/ the specific problem).

Sorry, I don't think there is any cure for that. If you were able to filter the original video signal before it was captured, maybe. I can't think of any filters that would improve it after you have it on disc.

I'll assume those lines are rolling down the screen. or moving. That's RF interference, not really a video problem, more of a reception problem.

You could convert the video to AVI. DV might be a good choice. You can convert to DV with VirtualDub Mod, using the Panasonic DV codec. Then try some filters.
