Newbie with a good Question HERE

I first used Mactheripper to rip a particular title, then tried to use Ffmpegx
to convert the .VOB file into DV format, which FCP understands natively and reduces rendering time. Problem is, Ffmpegx says in the progress manager that is done in like 1 second! NOT POSSIBLE! It simply creates an empty file that is nothing but a title.

Anyone have this type of problem before? Why would it allow me to select the vob file from one side, and not allow it to be converted correctly into dv format? Is there anything I can tinker w/ setting wise?
I've successfuly used Handbrake to rip the DVD into Avi, then brought that file into FFmpegx that successfully worked as DV format. Problem is, using Handbrake as you know only allows whole titles to be ripped, instead of specific chapters i only need using Mactheripper.

    Thanks all!

  2. Try to click the blue "i" icon in the Progress window and post the output messages for inspection.

  4. Audio seem in tracks 5 to 8 (4 to 7 in ffmpegX numbering) so try to set audio track accordingly in the audio tab.
