Was wondering why my DVD recorder can manage to fit 3 times the amount of HQ on dual layer disc compared to single layer. Dual layer discs are slightly less than double that of single layers so shouldn't it only fit just less than double.

Maybe they redefine HQ for two layer.

Have to say Lucky Goldstar has the worse website ever and they don't claim your machine.

The site claims 1.8 hours for dual layer but my book claims 3 hours. I have recorded 2 hours and 20 mintues with space left at HQ. Strange. Might have to see if I can tell myself if there is difference between Dual and single layer recorded at HQ.
