    i am trying to find a program that will let me edit avi and mpeg files....i've searched and found some but nothing great, can someone tell me a good and easy program that i can use .

    What kind of AVI? Most editing programs can handle uncompressed AVI.

    what kind of editing???

    just cutting or joining so you don't need to reconvert? then no tool supports both mpeg and avi that well. for mpg videoredo and avi virtualdub.

    for advanced editing vegas movie studio.
