  1. Hello there!

I have a problem which drives me crazy. I have been authoring a ~3,5 hour dvd with Nero (I first used tsunami-mpeg to compress the files), and I need the whole project to fit on a single disc.

Here is the thing: it all wotks nicely with pal, I can fit the project onto one single disc.

However, when I convert the vids to ntsc (again in Tsunami-mpeg) it seems impossible for nero to fit 4 GB onto a single disc.

I have tried with "Xdvd" format, I have tried compressing the vids to 3 GB (the quality is now very poor) but nero still won't give in.

    What should I do?

    Help would be gratley appreciated!

    /Kristofer

is the mpeg from tmpgenc 3gb?
and nerovision says that it wont fit? it probably wants to reencode so use something else to author with like tda.

  5. Yes they are mpg.

I have tried both the DVD template and XDVD template in the Tsunami mpeg software.

  7. EDIT2: Problem solved - bad media was the cause (Disregard the rest of this post)
    Hi again!

I have tried authoring with software tsunami and it WORKED!!!

    Then occurs the following problem:

Playback of the ntsc dvd disc is misbehaving on my main computer, after having watched a while and "surfed around" between the chapters the software (both nero and media player) crashes. This has never happened before.

I tried restarting the computer etc

I also tried with my laptop and it crashed when trying to shut down the dvdplayer software.

The disc is DVD-R "one-tech" . Burned at 6x speed.

EDIT: Now I have tried burning with "advanced analysis" in nero burning software with two different speeds AS WELL as

in TMPEG "writing tool" and still the same problem.

    Someone please help!
