  1. So here's my issue:
Ever since I upgraded my computer, ffmpegx hasn't been working the same way it did on my old machine. On my old machine I could convert DiVX->DVD with either mpeg2enc or ffmpeg. On my new machine, I don't get VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders, just a couple of files (on either decoder.) I have worked around this problem by converting DiVX->MOV->DVD. Not that this should matter, but I am also mapping .srt files to the subtitle section of the DVD.

    Old Machine info:
1GHz G4 eMac, 768MB RAM, Startup Disk: "Macintosh HD"
    ffmpegx 0.0.9s

    New Machine info:
Dual 2GHz G5, 2GB RAM, Startup Disk: "Server"
    ffmpegx 0.0.9u

Please let me know if you need any more info.

Despite these issues, I still have registered ffmpegx because it's invaluable, I want to support major, and am looking forward to the new 1.0 version. Thanks major!

  2. This could just be the effect or spaces or special characters in the hard disk name or path name of the new machine.

  3. Major,

Thanks, but the new machine is called "Server". It was the old one with "Macintosh HD."

    Thanks,

    Matthew

  4. Everything worked when I upgraded to 0.0.9v. Thanks for everything Major!
