    hey guys

i am to the muxing stage of this whole dvd convertion thing and i saw in a guide somewhere that its easy to do with tmpgenc and it is ...but its been over 30min and its not done muxing it yet! im noticing that tmpgenc is only using about 10% of cpu at any given time ...and the log from one of my avi2dvd has this step only taking 5 minutes. so i know theres a faster way to do it ...so i looked into virtualdubmod but i cant figure out how to get it to gimme the mpeg-2 out file i need to author into dvd (please leeme know how to do it this way as its soo simple and i can toss the subs in in the same step).

next i looked at the programs avi2dvd uses and i think it uses mplex.exe under dvd author mikisofts vcdimager to do it ...but i dunno what options to use (ie generic mpeg-2 or dvd ...then i dunno if i should just toss all the video and both audio files at the end in the input section) so if you know ho to use that i think thats gonna be really fast and i havent had a problem with the dvds avi2dvd gives me (well the ones that worked anyway)

or if you just know a way of doing it thats fast(er) than tmpgenc plz leeme know

    thnx
