  1. Hello, I'm having a slight problem when creating DVDs, the audio volume jumps every now and then. It goes very loud for a split second then goes back to normal. My DVD player seems to play everything else OK, and when I've burned other DVDs the same thing doesn't happen, so it seems to be something with SVCD2DVD. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? It's not too bad if it only happens very occasionally but on some DVDs I've made it's every few seconds or so.

    Many thanks in advance.

  2. Are the source files .mpg or .avi?

  3. It seems to happen on both, but it was worse on a DVD I made from MPEG2 files.

The SVCD2DVD DVDs: Do they do the same thing when played on the PC?

  5. They play fine on the PC - so I guess it could be my DVD player. I just tried burning the same DVD on a couple of different discs and the jumps are in the same place each time.

Are you outputing AC3 or MPA audio? Try setting the opposite to the setting you are using.
