    I have been having an issue the last 2 days. dunno why.. but Whether i play a dvd through my dvd player on my PC or i play VOB files. The video plays for a second. then stops..keeps repeating that.. The same dvds play fine on my main dvd players......

    I have been using Cyberlinks POWER DVD for a few years now w ith no problem. Thinking that might have been the issue, i uninstalled and reinstall it.. no luck.......i downloaded the VLC Media Player and had the same issue..

    I can play other video files just fine.. such as large AVI's and MPEGs.. I can still burn dvds ok......

    anyone have any ideas that can help??

    One of your IDE channels is set to PIO instead of DMA mode. Just a guess, tho, since your COMPUTER DETAILS isn't properly filled out.

    i just checked that. its set to DMA (if available).. any other ideas?

    any other suggestions? i just tried some other VOB files from other dvds stored on my hard drive.. seems to be hit or miss..
