I'm trying to encode my Ducktales episodes into h264. The encoding is easy and all.
However, whenever I play the files on my Ipod, they keep freezing at preset spots (different for each episode, of course). After a few seconds, the movie starts playing again... without any sound.
You can circumvent this by fastforwarding slightly whenever it freezes/starts playing without sound. But then you miss several seconds.
Why is this happening and how do I fix this? I've tried everything. I've even tried re-encoding them into some other format first. Right now I'm SVCD:ing them in hopes of it working.

Hi,
I had the same problem after I updated my iPod with the software update, I think it was 1.1. After the update all my videos played back how you are describing. I had to reset it to it's factory defaults to get it to play video again, Hope this helps -
I didn't even update my Ipod. It WAS 1.1.
How the heck do you get "back" to 1.0 then?
