Dvd Authoring Question

I just bought a pioneer dvd recorder i think its model dvr-233 and i am unable to do any serious editing before finalizing the dvr-rw. My question is can i after recording the cd can go on the computer and use like my dvd software to created another better main page. The re burn it with the new tiltes and so forth. Also I dont have a dvd burning on my computer just a regular burner. If anyone has the answer please let me know.

You can finalize the dvd, and then find a good mpeg editor, but you would need a dvd burner do be able to edit and reburn the dvd.
